How to Prepare for Delivery Day

Get ready to welcome your Cold Creek Tub!

We want your delivery day to go as smoothly and stress-free as possible. This guide will walk you through exactly what to expect when your tub arrives and how to be fully prepared for setup.

Once your tub reaches your local FedEx station, you’ll receive a text or email from FedEx to schedule your delivery appointment. Your cold tub will be delivered via FedEx Freight with Premium Delivery. This means the delivery team will bring the tub to your room of choice and remove the packaging.

Important Reminders for Delivery Day

To ensure everything goes smoothly, please review the following checklist:

  • Entry Clearance: Please confirm there’s 33–35” of clearance at entry points to allow easy access.
  • Delivery Instructions: We pay for premium delivery, but since we can’t train every FedEx team nationwide, it really helps if you’re there to guide the drivers — please remind them to remove all packaging and items from inside the tub before moving it off the pallet. This is key to preventing damage.
  • Let FedEx Do the Heavy Lifting: As part of premium delivery, two drivers should arrive within your delivery window to handle moving and placement. To ensure FedEx remains fully liable, please avoid assisting, but do supervise to help ensure everything goes smoothly.
  • Scratch Protection: If a dolly is used, ask the drivers to apply the included EVA foam pads to the dolly base — the metal edge can scratch the tub if left unprotected.
  • Before Signing: Carefully inspect the tub for any damage. If you notice anything concerning, you must refuse delivery — even if it’s already been unpacked. This is required for FedEx claims.
