Horizontal Tub - Leaking/Dripping

Leaking from Filter?

If you notice water leaking from the top of the filter housing, the issue is usually caused by an incorrectly installed filter component.

What to Check

  1. Clear Plastic Center Piece
Make sure the clear plastic center piece is properly positioned in the center of the blue filter housing around the filter.
  2. Black O-Ring
Verify that the black O-ring is seated securely around the rim of the filter housing.

If either of these components is missing or not installed correctly, water may leak from the top of the filter housing.

Leaking from Chiller Connections?

If you are experiencing a leak at the chiller fittings, the connections may not be fully seated properly. Be sure to push each connection down firmly before tightening so the gasket seals correctly.

How to Secure the Chiller Connections (HOW TO VIDEO) 📹

  1. Close both (2) valves on the pump plumbing to stop water flow before disconnecting the chiller connections
  2. Disconnect both chiller fittings
  3. Push each chiller connection down firmly so the black gaskets seat properly
  4. Reconnect the fittings firmly and retighten by hand
  5. Do not overtighten the fittings

Please note: it is completely normal for there to be a small visible gap or for the collar to not twist all the way down. The connection can still be fully secure. See photo for reference.
