FAQ's

What is cold water therapy?

Cold water therapy involves deliberately immersing the body in cold water for a short period. Used for centuries by athletes, this method helps reduce muscle soreness and inflammation. Cold exposure activates the sympathetic nervous system, releasing neurotransmitters like norepinephrine and dopamine, improves blood flow and brown fat activation, and benefits mental health. This practice is commonly used to promote recovery, reduce inflammation, and enhance overall wellness.

What are the benefits of cold water?

Cold water immersion offers a range of scientifically proven benefits for both physical and mental health. It helps enhance muscle recovery and performance, boost metabolism, and improve circulation while reducing inflammation. On top of that, it increases energy levels, supports mental well-being, builds resilience, promotes better sleep, strengthens the immune system, and sharpens mental clarity. Regular cold water immersion can make you feel more energized, focused, and resilient.

What is the optimum temperature and duration?

The ideal temperature is one that you can commit to. Begin with a temperature that is tolerably cold and gradually decrease it as your body adapts. Aim for a level that feels challenging but manageable.

Start with brief exposure times and gradually increase as your body acclimates. Consistency is key. Always listen to your body.

Can I place my Cold Creek Tub indoors and outdoors?

Yes, our tubs are versatile for both indoor and outdoor settings. Designed with the chiller and filter inside and featuring an insulated top with soft marine-grade EVA foam, they offer a sleek, all-weather design suitable for any space, whether in your home, garage, or on your deck.

How long does it take to set up a Cold Creek Tub?

Once you've positioned your tub, setup typically takes between 5 to 10 minutes before you can start filling it with water. No tools required. Detailed step-by-step video instructions are available on our website.

How do I maintain my water filter?

Changing the filter is a breeze, and the tub can be easily drained and refilled every 2-5 months, depending on use.

Why is the Cold Creek Tub so much less expensive than like competitors?

We wanted to start using a cold tub and purchased a competitor’s premium tub for over $10,000. We quickly realized that they charge so much because they don’t make the key components. It’s like buying from a middle man. Our family has been manufacturing products for over 25 years and was able to make an even better product at a substantial savings to you.

What are the delivery options?

  • Free shipping to contiguous USA.
  • Ships by next business day when in stock. Hawaii, Alaska and U.S. territories please allow an additional 2-3 weeks for delivery. International orders vary.

When will my Cold Creek Tub Ship?

If we show your tub in stock at checkout, we usually ship the tub the next business day for an address in the contiguous U.S. For Hawaii, Alaska and U.S. territories please allow an additional 2-3 weeks for delivery. International orders vary.

What method will you use to ship my Cold Creek Tub?

We will use FedEx freight to ship your cold tub.

Why don’t you offer a WIFI application with your cold tub?

Changing the temperature of any cold tub isn’t an instant process; therefore, we felt an app simply over complicated the process and added unnecessary cost. Changing the temperature on Cold Creek Tubs takes only seconds and can actually be faster than with most apps. Simply open the side vent and reduce or increase the temperature. That’s it.

Why don’t you have a timer or the temperature displayed outside the unit?

Cold immersion is a transforming event that requires discipline, drive and determination. Staring at a timer counting down just makes the process more difficult and adds stress to a time when you should be focusing on a clear mind and a relax body. Many have found that listening to music while using your phone’s timer is the best way to control your length of stay.

Do you offer financing?
