Horizontal Tub - Noise from Tub
Please note that some noise is completely normal. The pump runs continuously to circulate the water, so you will always hear a slight humming sound. The chiller stays in standby mode and only turns on when cooling is needed.
If you notice an unusually loud noise, the first step is to identify whether the sound is coming from the pump or the chiller.
How to check:
- If the chiller is not actively cooling, the noise is most likely coming from the pump since it runs continuously.
- If you are unsure, you can temporarily unplug the chiller from the electrical strip located inside the tub compartment.
- After unplugging the chiller:
- If the noise stops, the sound is coming from the chiller.
- If the noise continues, the sound is most likely coming from the pump.
If the noise seems excessive or unusual after identifying the source, please take a video and upload video here so we can help troubleshoot with you.
Noises from Tub
Some sounds from your tub are completely normal — but unusual noises can sometimes point to something worth checking.
Common causes and fixes:
- Filter noise — if the noise is coming from the filter, it may be air trapped inside. Press the red pressure release button located above the filter to release it. 📹 Pressure release video
- Pump noise — if the pump sounds louder than usual, check that water flow isn't being restricted by a clogged filter
- Chiller noise — some sound from the chiller is normal during operation. If it sounds significantly louder than usual or is making grinding/rattling sounds, contact our support team
