Horizontal Tub - Ozone System

If your ozone system does not appear to be working properly, follow the troubleshooting steps below.

Step 1: Check the Ozone Timer

Inside the equipment compartment, check the ozone timer on the left side and confirm the hours the ozone system is scheduled to run.

  • Each pin pushed down on the timer represents 30 minutes of ozone runtime
  • We recommend having at least 6–8 pins pushed down
  • The ozone system will only operate during the scheduled times shown on the timer

Step 2: Confirm Water Flow Through the Jet

The ozone system relies on proper water circulation to function.

Place your hand against the water jet located at the top inside of the tub. You should feel a light but steady flow of water. It will not feel as strong as a jacuzzi jet, but you should still notice water movement and light pressure.

If you do not feel water flow, or the flow feels very weak:

  • Confirm both water valves are fully OPEN (parallel with the plumbing line) — Video here 📹
  • Confirm have replaced the filter recently so it is not clogged

Step 3: Check for Ozone Bubbles or Smell

If your timer only has a few pins pushed down, the ozone system may only run for a short period each day, making it harder to notice.

When the ozone system is operating correctly, you may notice:

  • Small bubbles coming from the jet
  • A faint clean-air or ozone smell near the water

Step 4: Run the Ozone System All Day to Test

One of the best ways to test the ozone system is to temporarily run it continuously for 24 hours.

To Do This:

  1. Push down all the pins on the ozone timer inside the equipment compartment. This will schedule the ozone system to run all day
  2. Wait 24 hours with the tub covered
  3. Remove the lid and check for an ozone smell near the water surface

You should smell a distinct ozone smell.

  • If you do smell ozone, the system is working properly
  • If you do not smell anything, please contact our support team

After testing, return the timer back to normal by pulling the pins back out and then pushing down approximately 8–10 pins so the ozone system runs about 4–6 hours per day.
