Horizontal Tub - Chiller/Water Not Cooling
If your chiller does not appear to be cooling correctly, follow the steps below to troubleshoot.
1. Check for Warm Air Behind the Chiller
Remove the back vent cover and place your hand near the back of the chiller while it is running.
If the chiller is not currently running:
-
- Unplug the chiller from the electrical strip inside the tub.
- Plug it back in.
- Wait a few minutes for it to restart. Within 10 minutes, you should feel warm air coming from the back of the chiller. This is a sign that the chiller is actively cooling.
2. Check the Temperature Setting
Verify the chiller is set to your desired temperature.
- Press and hold SET for 5 seconds
- Use ▲ / ▼ to select your desired temperature
- Press SET again for 5 seconds to confirm
The display will normally show the current water temperature. To quickly view your set temperature, press SET once.
Please allow 12–24 hours for the tub to reach the target temperature, depending on the starting water temperature and ambient conditions.
3. Check for Water Flow Inside the Tub
Make sure water is flowing from the jet inside the tub.
- If water is flowing from the jet, the pump is operating properly.
- If there is little or no water flow, drain the tub so the water level is about 1 inch below the jet and take a video 📹(video example here). Then send a video to us here so we can review the flow and confirm whether it is normal or advise next steps.
