Vertical Tub – Chiller Error Codes
If your chiller is displaying an error code, here's what each one means.
Note: It is normal for the chiller to briefly display E2 and F01 during startup. If the code disappears after a few seconds, no action is needed.
F01 — Ozone Generator Error
The ozone generator is not communicating properly with the controller.
- Verify the ozone generator is plugged in securely
- Restart the chiller and check if the code returns – unplug for an hour
- If the error remains, please contact our support team
E1 — Water Temperature Sensor Failure
The sensor inside the evaporator that reads water temperature has failed. Please contact our support team for next steps.
E2 — Evaporator Surface Sensor Issue
There are two possible causes:
- The sensor on the surface of the evaporator has failed, but the chiller is otherwise operating normally.
- The surface sensor is functioning properly, but the pump has failed or water flow is restricted, causing the evaporator to freeze. The sensor will shut the chiller down to prevent damage.
If you are seeing an E2 error and the chiller has stopped cooling:
- Check that the pump is running
- Confirm water is flowing from the jet inside the tub
- Verify both water valves are fully open (parallel to plumbing)
- Make sure the filter is clean and not clogged
E4 — Condenser Sensor Failure
The sensor on the condenser has failed. Please contact our support team for assistance.
