Vertical Tub - Leaking/Dripping

If you are experiencing a leak on your Vertical Tub, the first step is determining exactly where the water is coming from.

1. Chiller Leaking

If you notice water leaking from the chiller, a loose or improperly seated hose clamp is one of the most common causes.

Fix

  • Check all hose clamps connected to the chiller to see if/which one is leaking
  • Tighten any loose hose clamps – 📹 Video: How to Tighten Hose Clamps

If tightening the hose clamp does not resolve the leak, please contact our support team for further assistance.

2. Filter Housing Leaking

If you are experiencing a leak from the filter housing:

  • Make sure the O-ring is seated properly inside the filter housing cap
  • Ensure the filter housing is hand tightened

Please note: if you see water droplets underneath the filter housing, this is often condensation rather than a leak.

3. Lower Bulkhead Leaking

If you notice a leak at the lower bulkhead, you may need to simply tighten the bulkhead. Or it may have cracked from overtightening during installation.

Fix

⚠️ When reinstalling, avoid over-tightening fittings. This is the most common cause of bulkhead cracks.

4. Leak at the Drain Valve

If you notice a leak around the drain valve:

  • Confirm the drain valve is fully closed
  • Check that all threaded connections are tightened securely
  • Inspect the valve for any visible cracks or damage

If the leak continues, please send us a photo or video so we can review the issue and advise next steps.
