Vertical Tub - Noise from Tub
Some sounds from your tub are completely normal during operation. The pump runs continuously to circulate and filter the water. The chiller remains in standby mode and only turns on when cooling is needed.
Because of this, it is normal to hear a light humming or water circulation sound from the pump throughout the day. However, unusual noises can sometimes indicate something that needs attention.
Common Causes & Fixes
1. Filter Noise
If the noise is coming from the filter housing, there may be trapped air inside the system.
Fix
Press the white pressure release button on top of the filter housing a few times to release any trapped air. When pressed, a small amount of water should come out of the button, indicating the air has been purged from the system.

2. Pump Noise
If the pump sounds louder than usual, water flow may be restricted.
Fix
- Check that water is flowing properly from the jet inside the tub
- Replace the filter if it is dirty or clogged
- Confirm both water valves are fully open, parallel to plumbing
3. Chiller Noise
Some sound from the chiller is completely normal while it is cooling.
However, if the chiller is significantly louder than usual or is making grinding, rattling, or other abnormal noises, please contact our support team.
