Vertical Tub - Water Quality
We recommend changing the water and filter at least once per month. If your water is getting dirty quickly, please check the following:

If you live in an area with hard water or poor water quality, we strongly recommend using a hose pre-filter when filling your tub. Many customers in places like Florida use a hose pre-filter to help prevent cloudy water, discoloration, and mineral buildup.
First Things to Check
- When did you last change the filter and water?
- Is water flowing from the jet inside the tub? You can place your hand against the jet to check.
- Are you rinsing off before plunging? Oils, sweat, lotions, and soaps can affect water quality quickly.
- Is the ozone timer set properly? We preset the ozone to run automatically overnight for 4–6 hours. Double check that at least 6–8 pins on the timer are pushed down.
The quickest way to reset the water and start fresh is usually to drain the tub, replace the filter, and refill with fresh water.
Additional Troubleshooting
1. Water & Filter Change
A clogged or restricted filter can reduce water flow through the jet. If you have not changed the filter or water within the last month, this should be your first step.

2. Water Flow
Make sure water is flowing from the jet inside the tub. Proper circulation is important for filtration, ozone sanitation, and overall water quality.
3. High Volume Use or Chemical Balancing
If your tub gets frequent use or you prefer using chemicals to help maintain water quality, check out our Sirona Chemical Kit. These products can help balance and sanitize the water.
Prevention Tips
- Use a hose pre-filter when filling
- Rinse off before entering the tub
- Keep the tub covered when not in use
- Replace filters regularly
- Drain and refill the tub on a regular schedule
- Avoid overusing chemicals — the ozone system handles most day-to-day sanitation needs
