Vertical Cold Tub: Routine Care & Maintenance
- CGChad G.Verified BuyerRated 5 out of 5 stars3 hours agoStreamlined plunging experience.
I have been plunging daily for over 3 years. I used to have a tub plunge and I always had to fix something on it and it wasnt very efficient and took up a lot of space. I decided to switch to the vertical tub and love it. Stays colder and uses 50% less water so much more efficient. Much smaller and streamlined so it fits my space much better. Love it so far!

- JHJeremy H. H.Verified BuyerRated 5 out of 5 stars2 weeks agoEasiest 5 Star Review I Have Done
I waited about six weeks before writing this review because I wanted to give the tub a real test. It is everything I hoped it would be and more.
This summer in Texas has been unbearably hot, with temperatures over 100° most days during that six-week period. The tub has consistently stayed between 39° and 41°. Some days I’m in it at 5:00 AM, and other days I get in during the evening after a long day in the sun, sometimes with my daughter keeping me company. Either way, that 40° water is glorious.
One of my biggest concerns was whether it could actually maintain temperature during a Texas summer. I’ve been a co-owner of a big-name-brand plunge for a few years, and during the summer we regularly have to add ice to keep it cold. Not with this tub. It has held temperature without a problem.
The customer service has also been unbelievable. I’ve dealt primarily with Peyton, and she has been magnificent. While I was out of town for a week, the ozone system went out and an alarm went off. My wife called the company, and they immediately shipped a replacement control. It arrived the same day I returned from my trip, took me about five minutes to install, and we’ve been rocking and rolling ever since.
This is easily the easiest five-star review I’ve ever given. The tub performs exactly the way I hoped it would, even through a brutal Texas summer, and the customer service has been outstanding. I couldn’t be happier with it.

Great product, amazing service done by the team. I was skeptical of how insulated it would be, but temperature barely rises after a few days in direct heat. Very happy.

- CDCeleste D.Verified BuyerRated 5 out of 5 stars3 months agoPerfect addition to my recovery oasis
I discovered cold plunging a few years ago at a local recovery studio, it helped my over 50 year old body recover from my many athletic activities ( trail running, powerlifting, rock climbing). After online research I finally pulled the trigger on the Cold Creek vertical tub, which ticked my boxes of something not too big that I could move myself that was durable with a nice finish, relatively low maintenance, and a competitive price. Delivery was smooth, I actually changed my mind after the delivery about where I wanted to place the tub and was able to move it myself through my garage and a doorway onto my back patio. Setup was straightforward, although I did initially only reference the video which doesn’t mention letting the chiller sit upright 24 hours before plugging in so I plugged in a little early and briefly ran it before realizing my mistake. I texted the company and they told me it would probably be fine, which it is. So far it’s been great, I love plunging in the morning listening to the birdsong and looking up at the trees, something I couldn’t do at the recovery studio. The chiller is surprisingly quiet. This is my first experience with a vertical plunge and I really like it, I kind on wedge my knees against the side and float. Five stars all the way!
Cold Creek Tubs2 months agoCeleste, thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! We loved reading about your morning plunges listening to the birds and looking up at the trees. That sounds so incredibly peaceful. :) We're so glad the vertical tub checked all the boxes for you and that it was easy to move and set up. Thanks again for trusting Cold Creek, and we hope it continues to help you recover from all of your adventures

Five stars all the way. I bought the vertical tub option. It’s perfect if you don’t have a lot of space. The tub is insulated so well it easily maintains the 40 degrees temperature that I like to plunge in without the chiller having to run all day.
This saves me money on my power bill compared to last tub I bought. I won’t name the brand. Anyway let me just say this, I researched dozens of brands of cold tubs. Not one of them comes close to the quality and value (price) of the Cold Creek Tub.
Thank you
